Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace & Me!

Hi guys.
It's been a little crazy around here recently!
How 1 email can totally change your life ;-)
It was a Thursday afternoon when I got it.......it.........was an email from Garth Allan.
PA to Vincent & Flavia from the hit BBC show, 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

It was from V&F and was asking if it would be OK for them to get onboard with the album by appearing in the artwork. They also wanted to sell the CD on their own website, sell the CD in their own marketing stands on tour and mention it in the media at every opportunity.

I was quite interested.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

So for the past few weeks I've been running around like a headless chicken redoing the cover artwork etc.

And here it is:

Also, today sees my debut on radio. I'm appearing in a show called, 'The Sunday Session' on my local station KLFM 96.7

I'll be talking all thing Vincent & Flavia and telling the story that goes behind the tune title '3 Years Too Late?'

In other news the album is about to be reviewed in Dancing Times and Dance Today.
Also Flavia has mentioned it in this interview on Intothespotlight:

'Nebulosa' ElectroTango first ever blog!

Hi all.
This is all very exciting!
So here I am, sitting in front of the TV and planning what happens next.

My debut ElectroTango album, 'Nebulosa' is musically complete and I'm now getting all the artwork together for it. It's a real nightmare not overdoing the Tango imagery while retaining all the artistic charm necessary for such a release. I've already rejected a series of shots featuring me in various states of sun soaked pose, sports vest and lots of jewellery etc! Most unwise. Think bleached Enrique Iglesias standing in front of a gothic door!
Hmmmn!

Past experience has taught me that album imagery usually comes from out of nowhere whilst you're 'fiddling' with a photo that you've already written off as a total no hoper. Fate always gets its way eventually.

Of course, I wouldn't be going to all this effort if it wasn't necessary but the clock is always ticking.
Several months ago I set a release date for the end of July and I still have loads to do!
We're planning a large local launch party and dance event to celebrate the release.

I'm very glad to have made some superb contacts of late, from, marketeers, press, publishers and DJs as well as a small army of enthusistic dancers/fans from across the world:
Germany to the U.S. - Italy to Australia.

I have my first radio interview scheduled for early August but first
it's about bringing everyone together for the July release.
Go go go!!!

As I said at the start.......It's all VERY exciting!
